Almost all children will be difficult or demanding at times. However, Grandcarers 
frequently inherit children who may experience emotional and/or behaviour problems. Persistent or excessive emotional and/or behaviour problems at any age should be taken seriously. They should not be dismissed as a “phase” or something they will “grow out of”.
This section will present information on the common problems and special needs of children in care.
