Checklist for Language Development (DOC)
This checklist can be used as basic guide to a child's speech development and can be used as a guide to whether more thorough assessment is required

ADHD Checklist (DOC)
This checklist can be used as a guide to whether more thorough assessment of the child for ADHD may be needed.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) checklist (PDF)
This checklist is pitched at parents, but it is applicable for Grandcarers looking to explain a range of cognitive, emotional and/or behavioural problems. Consideration of FASD is important given the high prevalence of alcohol use in Australia, and the high prevalence of dual use of alcohol and drugs amongst drug users.

School checklist – key questions to ask (PDF)
Going back-to-school can be an added trauma for a child who is no longer able to live with his/her biological parent(s). This list contains key questions that can be used to guide your discussion with the school.
